About the Role

We are looking for an outgoing, confident, and charismatic Tea Storyteller who can connect with guests through engaging conversations and compelling stories about tea, our brand, our heritage, and our products.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable facing guests, speaking in front of people, starting conversations, and presenting information in an interesting and memorable way.

This role is about more than serving tea—it is about creating an experience and making every guest curious about the world of tea.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and engage guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.

- Introduce guests to Aman Tea Group, Chaichun, our tea collections, and our brand story.

- Explain the origin, character, aroma, flavour, and uniqueness of different teas.

- Share interesting stories and facts about tea in a simple and engaging manner.

- Conduct tea presentations, tastings, and demonstrations for guests.

- Recommend teas based on guests' preferences and interests.

- Initiate conversations with guests and create a comfortable atmosphere.

- Confidently answer questions related to tea, the brand, and café offerings.

- Represent Chaichun professionally while interacting with customers, VIP guests, and visitors.

- Assist in special events, tea-tasting sessions, brand activities, and guest experiences.

- Work closely with the café team to ensure a smooth and memorable guest experience.

- Maintain strong product knowledge and continuously learn about tea, brewing methods, tea culture, and the company's products.

- Encourage guests to explore and appreciate tea beyond it being just a beverage.

Candidate Profile

- Excellent in verbal communication.

- Comfortable speaking in front of individuals or groups.

- Naturally friendly, expressive, and approachable.

- A good conversationalist and storyteller.

- Presentable with professional grooming and body language.

- Curious and eager to learn about tea.

- Passionate about hospitality, customer experience, food & beverage, or storytelling.

- Able to explain things in an interesting, simple, and memorable manner.

- Comfortable interacting with premium customers, tourists, corporate guests, and VIPs.

- Confident guest handling.

- Positive English communication skills.

- Hindi/Bengali/local language skills will be an added advantage.

Education

Minimum: 12th Pass

Preferred: Graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, Communication, Management, or a related field.
