As our new Senior Live Director, you’ll be responsible for the seamless execution of scheduled live events on DAZN’s OTT and Linear channels. You will take ownership of live broadcast delivery, managing playout and signal flow, while liaising with global production facilities to ensure high-quality output. This is an individual contributor role within the Transmission team, ideal for someone who thrives in a live sports environment and enjoys solving problems under pressure. You’ll work on a flexible shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support DAZN’s busy global sports schedule.

You will be working in an incredibly exciting environment, in a world class broadcast Facility.Live Directors deliver a broad spectrum of premium sports rights across the OTT and Linear services, including IPL, International Crickets, NRL, AFL, UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Serie A, Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1, Premier League, Japan’s J League, Formula 1, Moto GP, NFL and many fight sports. Reporting to Team Leaders locally, you will also work alongside Presentation, MCR and Bookings teams, and with regional Production teams, to deliver and coordinate DAZNs live events. What you'll be doing:

- Execute scheduled live sports events to ensure accurate and timely broadcast
- Monitor and perform quality control of all incoming and outgoing signals
- Load, prepare,



and transmit daily playout schedules for various channels
- Ensure all scheduled media is ready and liaise with relevant teams for any discrepancies
- Provide technical support for transmission services and equipment
- Proactively identify potential broadcast issues and plan for rapid resolution
- Maintain communication with internal and external production stakeholders

What you'll bring:

- Prior experience working in a live broadcast transmission setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a live operations setting
- Proven track record in delivering live sports content under tight deadlines
- Technical knowledge of broadcast automation systems and workflows
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Familiarity with OTT transmission or IP-based delivery systems is a plus
- Calm and focused approach to problem-solving under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of broadcast rules and regulations and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge and experience with Amagi Cloud TX Automation System.




- Familiar with Media Genix What’s On planningsystem.
- Microsoft Office, Teams and general software skills.
