About the Role

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our MEP consultancy team. The candidate will be responsible for HVAC system design, calculations, drawings, coordination, and technical support for residential, commercial, hospitality, and other building projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design HVAC systems as per project requirements, applicable codes, and standards.
- Prepare and review HVAC layouts, schematics, equipment schedules, and design documents.
- Perform HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection.
- Design and coordinate chilled water, VRF/VRV, DX, ventilation, and fresh-air systems.
- Review HVAC shop drawings, design drawings, and technical submittals.
- Coordinate HVAC services with Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Architectural teams.
- Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors.
- Identify and resolve design and site-related technical issues.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, specifications, tender documents, and technical reports.
- Review contractor submissions and provide technical comments/approvals.
- Conduct site visits to monitor HVAC installation and resolve technical queries.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed within the agreed timelines.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in HVAC design within an MEP consultancy.
- Good knowledge of HVAC design principles, calculations, and equipment selection.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of HVAC standards, codes, and design practices.
- Valuable understanding of MEP coordination and building services.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently handle HVAC design activities and coordinate with project teams.

Preferred Experience

Experience in commercial buildings, residential projects, hotels, hospitals, offices, malls, or high-rise buildings will be preferred.
