Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer) with a robust background in Aviation Runway Construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, cost estimation, contract administration, progress measurements, and commercial management of runway, taxiway, apron, concrete pavement, RCC structures, drainage systems, and associated airside infrastructure works. The role requires ensuring effective cost control while maintaining compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Measure and certify executed work for contractor and subcontractor billing.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and commercial reports throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project costs, material consumption, and productivity against approved budgets.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and assist in procurement activities.
- Review and process interim payment certificates, invoices, and final accounts.
- Prepare variation orders, change requests, and claims in accordance with contract conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of quantities, measurements, and commercial documentation.
- Coordinate with the Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Construction, and Finance teams to ensure commercial control.




- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project requirements.
- Support project forecasting, cash flow planning, and commercial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, and client requirements.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a QS Engineer on Metal and Mining Industry
- Strong experience in quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimation, and contract administration.
- Hands-on experience with Concrete Pavement (PQC), RCC works, earthworks, drainage systems, and pavement construction.
- Sound knowledge of FIDIC contracts and commercial management practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity surveying software.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contractual documents.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience working on international or EPC projects will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of ICAO, FAA, or equivalent aviation infrastructure standards is preferred.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹98,000.00 per month
