Objective

To support the medical college and hospital by providing supervised clinical care, assisting in teaching undergraduate medical students, and participating in academic and hospital activities, thereby contributing to high-quality patient services, medical education, and the overall growth and standards of the institution.

Job Responsibilities :

- Provide patient care under the supervision of senior doctors and faculty.
- Take patient history, perform clinical examinations, and maintain medical records.
- Assist in diagnosis, treatment, procedures, and ward rounds.
- Attend OPD, IPD, emergency, and on-call duties as per duty roster.
- Assist in teaching undergraduate students during practicals and clinical postings.
- Participate in academic activities such as seminars, case discussions,



and CMEs.
- Follow hospital rules, ethical standards, infection control, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with nursing and paramedical staff for patient care.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or hospital administration.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Degree with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
- Registered with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council is Mandatory.
- Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills.
- Interest in teaching and mentoring undergraduate medical students.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, emergency duties, and on-call rotations.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and academic documentation.
- Commitment to professional ethics, discipline, and continuous learning.
