Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tester / Senior QA Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in software testing and strong working knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and hospital management workflows.

The candidate will be responsible for functional, integration, regression, API and end-to-end testing of healthcare applications and will work closely with Application Leads, Integration Leads, developers and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business and functional requirements.
- Understand hospital workflows and translate them into test scenarios.
- Prepare:
- Test Scenarios
- Test Cases
- Test Data
- Regression Test Suites
- Perform functional testing of web applications.
- Perform integration testing with external systems.
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Validate API requests, responses, status codes and data mapping.
- Validate database changes using MongoDB queries.
- Perform end-to-end testing.
- Perform regression testing for every release.
- Perform smoke and sanity testing.
- Identify, document and track defects using Jira/Azure DevOps.
- Provide detailed defect descriptions with steps to reproduce, expected/actual results and supporting evidence.
- Retest fixed defects and provide closure.
- Perform root-cause analysis with developers.
- Validate integration failures and data synchronization issues.
- Participate in release validation and production verification.
- Maintain test execution reports and QA documentation.
- Coordinate with developers and Application Leads for defect resolution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Support UAT activities.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and QA process improvements.

- Design test cases based on real hospital workflows.
- Validate end-to-end patient journeys.
- Verify data consistency across different HIS modules.
- Validate API and database data against UI results.
- Identify integration and data synchronization issues.
- Understand the impact of defects on hospital operations.
- Validate role-based access and user permissions.
- Participate in UAT and production validation.

Required Testing Skills

- 4–5 years of software testing experience.
- Strong experience in Web Application Testing.

- Strong experience with REST API Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Postman.

- Basic to good knowledge of MongoDB.
- Ability to validate backend data against UI/API results.
- Experience with Jira or similar defect-management tools.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Mandatory: Working knowledge of HIS / Hospital Management System.

Preferred Skills

- Experience testing Angular/Node.js applications.
- Previous experience in healthcare/hospital applications.
- Experience with enterprise application integrations.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright.
- Basic JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge.
- Experience with CI/CD testing pipelines.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Experience with production support/testing.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
