Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing expert advice on drug usage, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. You will play a key role in promoting patient health and safety by offering guidance on prescriptions, over the counter medications, and general wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret physician prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Dispense medications and provide instructions for safe use
- Counsel patients on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory levels
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Monitor and manage stock,
including ordering and proper storage of medicines
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm / Pharm.D)
- Valid pharmacist license/registration
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and treatments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in retail or hospital pharmacy
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems
