Role Description:

The captain acts as a floor-level leader responsible for managing service execution, team coordination, and guest experience. This role ensures that operations run smoothly during shifts, supervises team performance, handles escalations, and maintains discipline. It also contributes to business performance by driving upselling and ensuring service standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the service team during daily operations.
- Welcome guests and ensure a warm, skilled, and efficient dining experience.
- Allocate sections and duties to service staff according to operational requirements.
- Monitor table service, order accuracy, food presentation, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate effectively with the kitchen, barista, cashier, and management teams.
- Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, hygiene, and overall floor presentation.
- Monitor staff grooming, uniform, punctuality, and adherence to company standards.
- Ensure proper use and handling of crockery, cutlery, glassware, equipment, and other service items.
- Check opening and closing procedures and ensure all assigned tasks are completed.




- Assist in training and guiding new and junior service team members.
- Monitor stock requirements for the service area and report shortages to the concerned department.
- Support billing and payment coordination when required.
- Maintain service quality and ensure SOPs are followed consistently.
- Prepare or support shift handover and operational reports as required.
- Escalate operational issues, guest complaints, and staff concerns to the reporting manager.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
