Job Description — Steel Fabricator

Position: Steel Fabricator / Fabricator
Location: Korba, Chhattisgarh
Industry: Steel Fabrication / Engineering

Job Responsibilities

- Carry out steel fabrication work as per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings, dimensions and measurements.
- Perform cutting, grinding, bending, fit-up, alignment and assembly of structural steel components.
- Handle MIG/CO₂ and ARC welding as required.
- Fabricate beams, columns, platforms, frames, supports, chutes, hoppers, ducts and other steel structures.
- Ensure proper fit-up, welding quality, dimensions and alignment.
- Use measuring and fabrication tools such as measuring tape, square, level, grinder, cutting torch, etc.
- Work safely and maintain proper housekeeping in the fabrication shop.
- Coordinate with supervisors, welders,



fitters and other shop personnel.
- Complete assigned fabrication work within specified quality and production targets.

Required Experience & Skills

- Minimum 2–5+ years of experience in steel/structural fabrication preferred.
- ITI in Fitter/Welder or equivalent practical experience preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of steel fabrication and welding processes.
- Ability to independently execute fabrication jobs from drawings.
- Experience with heavy steel fabrication will be an advantage.
- Ability to accurately measure, mark and prepare material for fabrication.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
