Core Responsibilities

- Plan and implement periodic vehicle inspections and maintenance schedules for all commercial vehicles.
- Monitor inspection and maintenance implementation, issuing corrective actions when deficiencies are found.
- Prepare and maintain inspection records, maintenance ledgers, and compliance documentation.
- Analyze accidents or breakdowns caused by poor maintenance and develop preventive measures.
- Perform small repair works, such as tyre rotation, grease packing, brake shoe inspection and adjustments, battery maintenance, check and replace the fuses and bulbs and similar minor jobs to ensure operational continuity.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations (exhaust gas, noise levels).
- Conduct start-of-duty and end-of-duty roll calls, alcohol checks, and driver health condition checks.
- Provide safety instructions, warnings, and driver education to promote safe driving practices.
- Manage statutory inspection deadlines and coordinate service centre schedules.
- Oversee tire changes, wheel nut tightening, and seasonal maintenance requirements.




- Investigate vehicle condition after accidents or breakdowns from a maintenance perspective.
- Cooperate with operation managers to align operational and maintenance plans.
- Propose budget allocations and vehicle replacement plans to the transporter.
- Stay updated with laws, circulars, and transport department guidelines, ensuring internal rules are revised accordingly.

Candidate Requirements

- Robust knowledge of CNG heavy vehicle repair works.
- Prior experience as a technician/mechanic at an authorized service centre (TATA or Ashok Leyland).
- Basic knowledge of CNG retro fitment processes.
- Ability to coordinate with workshops, service centres, and drivers to ensure smooth operations.
- Skilled in documentation, compliance management, and preventive maintenance planning

Pay: ₹16,215.05 - ₹54,046.68 per month
