BT Social Science Teacher

Job Summary
Bharathidhasanar Group of Schools is looking for a dedicated and experienced BT Social Science Teacher to teach middle and secondary school students. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge and the ability to make History, Geography, Civics, and Economics engaging and easy to understand.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Social Science for assigned classes.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Teach History, Geography, Civics, Economics, and related topics as per the syllabus.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE/State Board examinations.
- Conduct regular tests and evaluate student performance.
- Provide additional academic support to slow learners.
- Use smart classrooms, digital resources, maps, models, and activity-based teaching methods.
- Develop students' critical thinking, analytical, communication, and general awareness skills.
- Maintain accurate attendance, marks, lesson records, and student progress reports.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events, and academic activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.




- Work with the academic team to improve student learning outcomes.

Eligibility & Skills

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Social Science or relevant subject.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Social Science curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
- Good knowledge of digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
- Student-centred approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Preference will be given to Tamil Nadu candidates.
