Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Factory Supervisor to manage daily

factory operations, production activities, manpower coordination, quality control, and

workflow management.

The candidate will be responsible for supervising fabrication activities, ensuring production

targets are achieved, maintaining discipline on the shop floor, and coordinating with

Production, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams for smooth operations.

Production Workflow:

Raw Material Availability → Production Planning → Fabrication Process → Quality

Inspection → Finishing → Dispatch Coordination

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Supervision

 Supervise daily production and fabrication activities.

 Allocate work to operators, helpers, and labour teams.

 Monitor production progress as per planning and deadlines.

 Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

 Maintain daily production reports.

2. Manpower Management

 Manage and supervise factory workers and contract labour.

 Allocate manpower according to production requirements.

 Monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity.





 Train workers on work processes and safety practices.

 Resolve day-to-day manpower-related issues.

3. Fabrication & Process Control

 Monitor fabrication activities including cutting, drilling, welding, grinding, and

assembly.

 Ensure work is carried out as per drawings and specifications.

 Coordinate with the engineering team for drawing-related issues.

 Ensure proper handling and movement of materials inside the factory.

 Monitor wastage and material utilization.

4. Quality & Safety Management

 Ensure production work meets required quality standards.

 Coordinate with the Quality team for inspections.

 Ensure compliance with safety procedures on the shop floor.

 Monitor usage of PPE and safe working practices.

 Report quality or safety issues to management.

5. Coordination & Reporting

 Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Purchase, and Dispatch departments.

 Prepare daily production status reports.

 Maintain records of production, manpower, and material usage.

 Update management regarding production progress and challenges.

 Support timely completion of production targets.

Technical Competencies

 Knowledge of steel fabrication processes.

 Understanding of structural steel components and drawings.

 Knowledge of welding, cutting, drilling, and fabrication activities.

 Ability to read basic engineering drawings.

 Knowledge of production planning and shop floor management.

 Basic knowledge of MS Excel for reports and tracking.

 Understanding of quality and safety practices.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

 Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in:

 Steel Fabrication

 Manufacturing Operations

 Production Supervision

 Factory Floor Management

 Structural Steel Industry

Pay: ₹12,356.44 - ₹20,153.45 per month
