- Active Directory expertise
- Microsoft infrastructure tool experience - SCOM, SCCM, etc.
- Operating system expertise, virtualization experience
- Scripting and automation experience
- Solid communication skills, including writing documentation
- A solid understanding of key infrastructure technologies (networking, storage, etc.)
- Familiarity with Exchange, Sharepoint, SQLServer, Citrix (desirable)
- Application integration experience, especially with cloud providers (desirable)
- An "enterprise" mindset (scalability, efficiency, lots of services)
- ITIL experience (desirable)
