Job Description – Warehouse ManagerPosition: Warehouse ManagerJob Purpose

The Warehouse Manager will have overall responsibility for the assigned warehouse, including products, manpower, safety, maintenance, cleanliness, security, and daily operations. He will be accountable for everything happening within the warehouse and ensure smooth, safe, and productive functioning.

Key Responsibilities

- Overall Warehouse Operations
- Take complete charge of the warehouse and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Ensure all activities follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain discipline, organization, and operational efficiency.
- Product & Inventory Management
- Ensure safe storage, proper stacking, handling, and movement of products.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Prevent damage, wastage, contamination, shortage, and unauthorized movement of products.
- Report any stock discrepancy or product issue immediately.
- Manpower Management
- Supervise all workers, labourers, helpers, and other warehouse staff.
- Allocate duties and monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, and work quality.
- Address routine manpower issues and coordinate with HR when required.
- Maintenance & Infrastructure
- Ensure the warehouse building, electrical systems, racks, doors, equipment, and other facilities remain in good condition.
- Identify maintenance requirements and coordinate timely repairs.
- Immediately report breakdowns, damage, leakage, or other infrastructure issues.
- Safety & Security
- Ensure the safety of workers, products, equipment, and the warehouse premises.
- Monitor fire-safety arrangements, emergency exits,



and safe working practices.
- Prevent theft, unauthorized access, misuse of assets, and unsafe activities.
- Report accidents, incidents, and major safety concerns immediately.
- Loading, Unloading & Dispatch
- Supervise loading, unloading, and movement of materials.
- Ensure proper handling and verification of goods during inward and outward movement.
- Coordinate with Dispatch, Transport, Production, and other relevant departments.
- Housekeeping & Hygiene
- Maintain proper cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the warehouse.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and pest-control measures.
- Ensure products are protected from moisture, contamination, pests, and other risks.
- Records & Reporting
- Maintain necessary records related to stock, manpower, warehouse activities, damages, maintenance, and incidents.
- Submit regular updates and reports to management.
- Investigate and report any major issue or discrepancy.
- Responsibility & Accountability
- Take immediate action to resolve operational problems within the warehouse.
- Identify the causes of losses, damages, delays, or other issues and take corrective action.
- Maintain complete accountability for the products, people, assets, safety, maintenance, and overall functioning of the assigned warehouse.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
