Software Engineer is an individual with proven experience in adhering to software engineering best practices, delivering software
products/applications generating business value. They are expected to have continuous improvement mindset, driving value-based process,
product/application optimization.
Key Accountabilities:
• Solution consultation and development in accordance with the enterprise technology principles, methods, standards, and practices.
• Estimation, solution design, detailed technical design, application technical deliverables including code, associated tests and documentation.
• Contribution to functional excellence in terms of definition and maintenance of standards, methods and tools, bringing in best practices from
market standard implementations.
• Manage complex integration scenarios and interfaces between on-premise solutions, cloud and legacy systems. Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ Years relevant software development experience broadly ranging from front-end, back-end, cloud automation and orchestration with depth in
Back-End Development.
• Back-End Development: o Expert in .NET and .NET Core (Web, API,



Windows, Services) with Azure Platform Development (Serverless Computing,
Azure Functions, Azure Services, Azure Storage etc). o Expert in one or more of Data Development (SQL Databases, No SQL, Cloud Datastores etc)
technologies. Experience with Azure Cosmos DB is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Cloud Native Deployment with CI/CD Pipelines. [One of GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps] into serverless containers (Kubernetes,
Docker)
• Experience in Agile teams applying the best architecture, design, unit testing patterns & practices with an eye for code quality and standards.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies like React, Typescript etc. Positive to Have Skills:
• Experience in Energy Trading and Pricing Solutions
• Front-End Development: Proficient in front-end development technologies (React, JavaScript, TypeScript) Personal Attributes:
• Adaptable to change, versatile and pragmatic and able to balance development approach based on business criticalities
• Comfortable talking to business users and can translate business needs into tangible IT deliverables
• Keeps up-to-date knowledge with recent IT software developments (open source and cloud in particular)
• Uses initiative and owns end-to-end solution delivery, brings ideas to the table, is inquisitive and excited by new technology
• Proactively communicates and shares understanding and experience within a team
• Used to working in a flexible, independent manner on a mixture of small unstructured and large structured items.
