About the Role:

As a Software Engineer Telecom Billing, you will design, implement, and support scalable software solutions that enable reliable, high-availability telecom billing systems. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, working on core billing platforms and supporting systems that require strong understanding of system protocols, data flows, and technical integrations.

This role involves close collaboration with engineering teams to develop and enhance software components using modern technologies and industry best practices. You will independently deliver well-documented solutions that align with technology strategy and business objectives, while continuously learning and contributing cutting-edge ideas to improve system performance and reliability.

What Youll Do:

- Design, develop, and implement software solutions that support telecom billing engineering initiatives.
- Contribute to the delivery of scalable, highly available systems that meet customer and business requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver effective solutions and continuously expand technical knowledge.




- Create and maintain clear documentation for software code, system designs, and business requirements.
- Support technology strategy by understanding current technologies and alignment with business goals.
- Propose and present innovative ideas to improve systems, processes, or services based on industry research.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by business management.

What Youll Bring:

- 24+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Experience developing enterprise software solutions in complex system environments.
- Hands-on development experience with C and C++.
- Experience working with Oracle databases and SQL.
- Understanding of telecom billing systems and customer service management tools (preferred).
- Familiarity with middleware platforms such as Tuxedo (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and articulate technical concepts.

Must Have Skills:

- C and C++ SW development.
- Oracle Database and SQL.
- Problem solving & debugging, unit testing,
- Practical use of AI- assisted development tools to improve code quality,
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
