Hiring: QS & Planning Engineer | Cameroon (Africa)

URVA Consulting is hiring an experienced QS & Planning Engineer for one of our clients for their infrastructure projects in Cameroon, Africa.

We are looking for a strong Civil/Infrastructure qualified with hands-on experience in Quantity Surveying, Project Planning, Infrastructure and Earthwork projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle Quantity Surveying (QS) activities, including quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation/review, measurement and cost estimation.
- Prepare, monitor and update project schedules and execution plans.
- Track project progress against planned schedules and highlight delays/deviations.
- Support project teams with planning, forecasting, resource requirements and progress reporting.
- Work closely with project/site teams, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
- Review drawings and calculate quantities for infrastructure and earthwork projects.
- Support cost monitoring, variations, reconciliation and project documentation.
- Prepare periodic progress reports and management updates.

Candidate Requirements





- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in QS and Project Planning.
- Strong experience in Infrastructure and Earthwork projects.
- Hands-on knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Strong numerical, analytical and mathematical skills.
- Experience working with a PMC (Project Management Consultant) is preferred.
- Previous overseas/international project experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination and reporting skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Cameroon, Africa.
