Whizz HR is hiring for Strategic Business Manager in Mumbai for our internal team in Andheri East:

This is a high-ownership role for someone who can take tasks from the MD, follow them through to completion, coordinate with different departments, ensure timely execution, and keep the MD updated at every stage.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across HR, Operations, Sales, Finance, Administration, Marketing, and other functions, and should be capable of representing the MD and the organisation professionally whenever required.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with the MD on day-to-day priorities, strategic initiatives, and business-critical tasks.
- Take complete ownership of tasks assigned by the MD and ensure timely closure with proper follow-ups.
- Maintain a explicit tracker of all pending tasks, commitments, deadlines, and action points.
- Coordinate with different department heads and employees to ensure execution of MD's instructions.
- Follow up persistently with stakeholders until tasks are completely closed.
- Provide regular updates to the MD on progress, pending items, delays, and concerns.
- Act as a bridge between the MD and various departments.
- Attend meetings with the MD, record key action points, and ensure that all decisions are implemented.
- Monitor departmental activities and identify gaps requiring the MD's attention.
- Support the MD in business planning, reviews, MIS, reporting, and operational follow-ups.
- Handle confidential information and sensitive matters with complete discretion.
- Represent the MD professionally in internal and external interactions whenever required.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors,



consultants, senior employees, and other stakeholders on behalf of the MD when required.
- Support cross-functional projects and ensure all teams remain aligned with organisational priorities.
- Identify bottlenecks proactively and escalate matters to the MD with possible solutions.
- Ensure that important commitments made by the organisation are followed through to completion.
- Take ownership of urgent and ad-hoc assignments given by the MD.
