Post: Operation Manager (Chennai)

Industry: Leading Parcel Service / Logistics

Location: Chennai

Experience: Minimum 5 years in Parcel Service -Operations in leading parcel service companies preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management

• Oversee daily operational locations in Chennai.

• Ensure effective parcel movement, timely dispatch, delivery, and route optimization.

• Establish and monitor SOPs to maintain service quality, TAT, and customer satisfaction.

• Coordinate with hubs, branch offices, franchise agents, and ground staff.

2. Franchise Network Management

• Manage, support, and monitor franchise partners.

• Ensure franchise adherence to operational guidelines and business performance targets.

• Conduct regular meetings, audits, and service quality checks.

• Support franchisee onboarding, training, and performance improvement.

3. Team Handling & Staff Management

• Plan workforce allocation, productivity improvement, and performance monitoring.

• Provide training, motivation, and guidance to ensure operational excellence.

4. Business Development & Revenue Growth

• Identify new business opportunities, partner development,



and volume growth.

• Work closely with senior management to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.

• Implement strategies to improve market share and customer base.

5. Travel & Field Operations

• Conduct field audits, client visits, and franchise reviews.

6. MIS, Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS related to operations, service levels, performance metrics, and revenue.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Hands-on experience in logistics/courier/parcel operations

• Excellent communication and franchise management abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and handle large teams

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Target-driven with strong business acumen

Qualifications:

• Any Graduate (MBA preferred)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in parcel operations required.

Salary:

Maximum gross up to 7 LPA
