Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the chief architect for the global connector group, driving performance and optimization initiatives.
- Lead architecture design and review for data pipeline service projects and features.
- Guide engineering-wide initiatives across key technologies and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the Office of the CTO and other principal engineers across development locations.
- Act as an active engineering team member to deliver robust, scalable features.
- Enhance engineering systems, documentation, and development processes.
- Coach and mentor senior and staff engineers to foster a culture of growth and engineering excellence.
- Participate in hiring processes and contribute to building a high-performing team.
- Develop proofs-of-concept (POCs) and bring projects to production-ready status.
- Perform end-to-end system profiling, performance tuning, and optimization.

Skills We're Looking For:

- 15+ years of professional experience in designing and delivering large-scale,



enterprise-level software products.
- Extensive experience as an architect or principal engineer with a cooperative and decisive leadership style.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale architectural projects and deliver results.
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to engage effectively with engineers, product managers, analysts, and executives.
- Extensive back-end development experience, ideally for customer-facing products.
- Proficient in writing well-structured, efficient code and designing, building, maintaining, testing, and deploying software.
- Experience with cloud environment architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Hands-on experience with data pipelines and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Skilled in system profiling, performance tuning, and optimization.
