Key Responsibilities:

- Database Management & Administration:
- Administer and support databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) ensuring they are properly configured, secured, and optimized for performance.
- Perform routine tasks such as backups, restores, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting of database systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and views in accordance with application requirements.
- Security and Monitoring:
- Implement and manage Imperva SecureSphere 14x, DSF, and DRA 4x to enhance database security and compliance.
- Monitor and manage database activity through security monitoring tools, ensuring timely identification and response to any unauthorized access or activity.
- Configure and manage database security policies, roles, and permissions to maintain a secure environment.
- Perform integration of SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions with databases for continuous monitoring and auditing.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging:
- Provide hands-on support in debugging and troubleshooting issues related to Imperva SecureSphere, DSF, and DRA.
- Resolve database and security-related issues quickly, efficiently, and with minimal impact to business operations.
- Security Protocols & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with internal security protocols and industry best practices for database security.
- Monitor, analyze and resolve issues related to Vulnerability Assessment (VA) and Penetration Testing (PT) findings.
- Apply fixes and closure actions to vulnerabilities identified through security assessments, audits, and penetration testing.
- Performance Optimization & Reporting:




- Proactively monitor database performance, identifying areas for optimization and applying performance tuning techniques.
- Generate and review security, audit, and performance reports to provide insights and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Qualifications:

- Experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in database administration (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
- Hands-on experience with Imperva SecureSphere 14x, DSF, and DRA 4x products.
- Extensive experience with SIEM integration for database systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in database management for Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL.
- Basic understanding of Linux systems and environment.
- Knowledge of basic SQL and SQL-based querying and troubleshooting.

- Security Expertise:
- Deep understanding of database security concepts, including data encryption, user access control, and auditing.
- Experience with Vulnerability Assessment (VA) and Penetration Testing (PT) tools for database security monitoring.
- Ability to manage security incidents and ensure database compliance with industry standards.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
- Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve database issues.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and effectively communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, etc.).
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
- Imperva data security certification
