Skills and Requirements 9+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering with expertise supporting large-scale eCommerce environments. Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GKE,
Shared VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Redis, Cloud Run/Functions, Load Balancing, Secret Manager). Deep Kubernetes knowledge including Helm, autoscaling, deployments, resource optimization, and ingress/gateway management. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration-as-code practices. Advanced CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Git, artifact repositories, automated testing, security scanning, and progressive release strategies. Experience supporting Java-based enterprise platforms such as WebSphere, Tomcat, Apache, Solr, and related middleware. Strong observability and incident management skills using tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, and OpenTelemetry. Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Groovy scripting. Experience embedding security best practices into cloud and delivery pipelines, including IAM, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements. Proven leadership, mentorship, and stakeholder management skills within distributed engineering teams. Experience leveraging AI tools to improve automation, documentation, monitoring, and operational efficiency. Preferred certifications: Google Qualified Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect, CKA/CKS, Terraform Associate, and AI-related certifications.
