Roles and Responsibilities:

What will you do

- Proficiency: Install, configure, and maintain Linux & Mac-based servers and workstations.
- Performance Optimization: Identify performance issue/ bottlenecks on a high performing / high availability SAAS environment.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts (Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.) to automate system administration tasks.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve system, application, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure needs and DevOps processes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

What skills or knowledge should you bring

- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:



Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Linux in performance and troubleshooting & system administration.
- Technical Expertise:
- Solid knowledge of Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, Debian, etc.).
- Experience with server virtualization (VMware, KVM, Proxmox).
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
- Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, VPN).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
