Position: HR, People & Culture Manager

NextGen Group is seeking an energetic and experienced HR, People & Culture Manager to strengthen our workplace culture and manage the complete employee lifecycle across our growing organisation.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, retention, engagement, payroll coordination and ongoing HR matters. The successful candidate will build a positive, accountable and high-performing culture in which employees feel connected, supported and motivated.

Key Responsibilities

Lead recruitment, interviewing, selection and onboarding.

Manage probation reviews and structured performance-review cycles.

Develop training plans and coordinate employee learning and development.

Support managers with performance, conduct and employee-relations matters.

Implement initiatives to improve retention, engagement and team spirit.

Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.

Maintain employment records, policies, procedures and HR documentation.

Monitor attendance, leave, employee turnover and workforce trends.

Organise team events,



recognition programs and engagement activities.

Encourage employee participation and collaboration across departments.

Conduct employee surveys and convert feedback into practical improvements.

Prepare regular HR reports and people metrics for management.

Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.

Requirements

Candidate Profile

-

Degree or postgraduate qualification in HR, Business or a related field.

-

7+ years of generalist HR experience, including team or managerial responsibility.

-

Solid experience in recruitment, performance management, training and employee relations.

Working knowledge of Indian employment practices and payroll processes.

-

Excellent communication, organisation and conflict-resolution skills.

Practical, approachable and capable of balancing employee experience with business needs.
