nThe Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations in the hose manufacturing facility, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and cost standards. The role involves supervising shop floor personnel, monitoring machine performance, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
nKey Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities to ensure production schedules are met.n
- Monitor hose manufacturing processes, including mixing, extrusion, reinforcement, vulcanization, braiding/spiraling, curing, cutting, and finishing.n
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.n
- Allocate manpower effectively and manage shift operations.n
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.n
- Ensure proper use of raw materials and reduce process waste.n
- Maintain production records, shift reports, and KPI dashboards.n
- Enforce workplace safety, housekeeping (5S),



and environmental standards.n
- Conduct shift meetings and communicate production priorities.n
- Train, coach, and evaluate production operators and technicians.n
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.n
- Coordinate with Quality, Planning, Stores, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments.n
- Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement projects.n
- Ensure compliance with ISO, customer, and regulatory requirements.n
