Role Description The Business Development Associate is a full time, on-site role based in Jayanagar,Bengaluru. This role involves cold calling, nurturing prospects, and contributing to the growth of Proxima Skills Academy’s training programs and partnerships. Responsibilities include conducting market research to understand industry trends, preparing and delivering presentations to potential learners, institutional partners, and corporate clients, and maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders. The associate will support sales outreach, follow up on inquiries, update CRM or sales tracking tools, and collaborate with internal teams to align business development activities with marketing and program delivery. The role requires a proactive approach to building relationships, representing the academy professionally, and participating in events or meetings that promote the organization’s offerings.
Qualifications
Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in B2C Sales.
Candidates with experience in Ed-tech / Pharma / Healthcare industry is a plus.




Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, outreach, and follow-up to build and manage a sales pipeline.
Candidates should possess Market Research abilities to analyze trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs in education and training sectors.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with learners, partners, and internal teams.
Relevant experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles in education, training, or related industries is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is beneficial.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Comfort with using productivity and CRM tools, and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
