Job Description
1. Support development of vehicle electrical wiring harness including HV and LV power distribution systems and DC DC.
2. Define harness topology, manufacturing process, fuse and relay configuration, power distribution requirements.
3. Prepare electrical system SOR, schematics, and design documentation.
4. Develop vehicle wiring harness design including routing, connector selection, and protection strategy.
5. Coordinate with suppliers for harness drawings, schematics, and prototype builds.
6. Ensure proper integration of battery pack, motor controller, charger, DC-DC converter, cluster, and vehicle ECUs.
7.
Support selection, integration, and validation of DC-DC converters for EV applications.
8. Ensure reliable HV to LV power conversion for vehicle electrical systems.
9. Support vehicle-level electrical system validation and troubleshooting.
10. Analyses test data and provide root cause analysis for electrical failures.
Required Skills
· Robust understanding of automotive wiring harness design and vehicle electrical architecture.
· Knowledge of HV and LV power distribution systems in EVs.
· Experience with DC-DC converters and vehicle low-voltage power systems (12V/48V).
· Familiarity with connectors and terminals from suppliers like TE, Yazaki, and Sumitomo.
· Knowledge of CAN communication and ECU integration.
· Understanding of automotive electrical safety and regulatory standards.
