Main Purpose
Responsible for leading Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Erection & Commissioning, and Operations & Maintenance activities for electrical systems and infrastructure. The role will be responsible for project planning and execution, budget and resource management, engineering and technical evaluation, procurement support, statutory coordination, construction supervision, commissioning, reliability improvement, troubleshooting, and steady-state support of electrical systems across the project/site. The role will also lead the Electrical function, ensuring protected, reliable, cost-effective, and compliant operations.

Job Accountabilities
Lead the planning, engineering, execution, erection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for greenfield/brownfield projects and operational facilities.
Manage electrical project activities covering HV/EHV substations, switchyards, transmission and distribution networks, transformers, HT/LT switchgear, motors, drives, electrical utilities,



and plant electrical systems.
Prepare project plans, resource requirements, and execution strategies, and monitor progress against time, cost, quality, safety, and statutory compliance parameters.
Prepare and control CAPEX/OPEX and annual maintenance budgets, including planning and monitoring the procurement of electrical equipment, spares, and services.
Lead the preparation of technical specifications, RFP/RFQ documents, tender evaluation, technical scrutiny, and vendor/OEM finalization for electrical equipment and services.
Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Projects, Construction, and other stakeholders to ensure timely procurement and delivery of critical electrical materials and equipment.
Review and evaluate electrical engineering drawings, SLDs, protection schemes, equipment specifications, load schedules, cable schedules, layouts, BOQs, and other technical documents.
