We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and optimize our database systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of SQL databases, performance tuning, backup strategies, and security protocols to ensure data integrity and availability.

What You'll Do:
Install, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server
databases.
Manage SQL Server instances hosted on-premises and AWS RDS.
Configure and manage database backups, restores, disaster recovery,and maintenance plans.
Monitor database health, performance, and availability using SQL Server monitoring tools.
Identify and resolve database bottlenecks at both the infrastructure andapplication/query levels.
Perform query optimization, execution plan analysis, and performance
tuning.
Design, implement, and maintain database objects, including:
Tables
Views
Stored Procedures
Functions
Triggers
Indexes
Constraints
Configure and manage SQL Server Agent Jobs.




Configure and troubleshoot Linked Servers.
Manage TempDB configuration and optimize its performance.
Monitor blocking, deadlocks, waits, and resource utilization.
Perform index analysis, maintenance, fragmentation management, and
statistics updates.
Troubleshoot database issues using:
Extended Events
SQL Profiler
Activity Monitor
Query Store
Agile Management Views (DMVs)
Support database deployments, schema changes, and release activities.
Ensure database security by managing users, roles, permissions,
auditing, compliance and encryption where applicable.
o Production Incident Handling, Root cause analysis (RCA), performance troubleshooting and proactive monitoring.
o Work closely with development teams to improve database performance and application scalability. Prepare and maintain database documentation, SOPs, and operational
runbooks.
