Position: Feedmill manager

Role Description
The Feedmill Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the feedmill, ensuring secure, efficient, and consistent production of poultry feed.
This full-time, on-site role is based in Hoshiarpur and includes planning production schedules, supervising staff, coordinating raw material procurement, and monitoring inventory levels.
The role involves maintaining equipment, ensuring preventive maintenance is carried out, and minimizing downtime.
The Feedmill Manager monitors quality control procedures, verifies feed formulations, and ensures compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
The position also requires maintaining production records, analyzing performance data, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with farm and breeding teams to meet nutritional and production targets.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of feedmill operations, feed manufacturing processes, and basic animal nutrition principles.




Experience in supervising production teams, assigning tasks, and maintaining safe, organized working conditions.
Ability to manage inventory, coordinate procurement of raw materials, and track production and quality documentation accurately.
Skills in equipment monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and coordination of preventive maintenance with technical staff.
Understanding of workplace safety, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements related to feed production.
Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with farm, breeding, and procurement teams.
Prior experience in poultry, feedmill, or agro-based industries is highly beneficial.
Diploma or degree in agriculture, animal science, engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience in feedmill management.
