Job Summary

This position will be an essential part of the payroll function. The key responsibilities will be related to preparation, reporting and payment of the payroll process and Tax, with a strong focus on internal customer service levels. This role will support the payroll team with payroll processing globally. This position will operate during 11:30am IST to 8:30pm IST.

Lead, train, and provide work direction and guidance to assigned staff; coordinate employee work assignments and review work for accuracy, completeness and compliance with established standards, requirements, and procedures; provide input regarding staff evaluations
Experience on team mentoring and payroll projects
Participate in complex payroll support functions; calculate, review, verify and post a variety of complex payroll data such as gross pay, retirement, contract adjustments, retroactive payments, hours, tax information and leave; balance, reconcile and submit payrolls for check processing; input of new hires and enrolment/separation applications for retirees and active employees in appropriate retirement system.
Provide technical training and assistance to staff concerning payroll activities and related functions
