Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management
Plan and monitor daily Heat Treatment production activities for SQF and CMBF furnaces.
Ensure achievement of production targets as per customer requirements and production schedules.
Monitor furnace loading patterns, cycle times,



and process parameters for optimum productivity.
Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments.
Process Control & Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to Heat Treatment process parameters including:
Temperature
Carbon Potential
Quenching Parameters
Soaking Time
Cooling Rates
Monitor hardness, case depth, microstructure, and metallurgical properties.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, CQI-9 requirements, and internal quality standards.
Lead process capability improvements and root cause analysis for quality concerns.
Furnace Operations
Oversee operation and maintenance of:
Sealed Quench Furnace (SQF)
Continuous Mesh Belt Furnace (CMBF)
Quench Systems
Tempering Furnaces
Endothermic Gas Generators
Ensure furnace calibration, TUS, SAT, and preventive maintenance activities are conducted as per schedule.
