We're hiring a Jewelry Designer with a distinct visual point of view and the technical grounding to realise it. This isn't a role where you hand off a drawing and move on. You'll sit with the team, analyse market and trend, watch pieces come off the bench, and design the next collection knowing exactly why the last one worked.
The work
Develop original collections, from concept through to production-ready design
Research deeply into design, materials and technique, and turn it into a coherent point of view
Track where the market/trend is moving, and judge what's relevant to us and what's noise
Produce technical drawings with full specifications, dimensions, weight, stone sizes, setting type, finish
Select stones alongside the sourcing team and adapt designs to what the market can actually deliver
Should possess robust Jewelry Design and Fashion Jewelry skills, with the ability to create market-relevant collections.
What we're looking for
A defined aesthetic sensibility, work that looks like it came from someone, not from a category
Range across a jewellery wardrobe that isn't split by gender, from signets and chains to statement pieces
Genuine working knowledge of manufacturing: casting, stone setting, plating, finishing, and what each does to a design
Deep understanding and knowledge of market and trends.
