About the Department

Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG

Key Responsibilities

Business Development
- Approach and engage potential investors; Source and engage active investment leads through targeted outreach in the European Region
- Facilitate initial interactions with potential investors, independently or with industry stakeholders
- Achieve monthly/ quarterly/ annual targets
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and follow-ups (often via CRM tools)
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, international stakeholders and Government entities
- Proven track record of over/achieveing targets preferred

Investment Promotion
- Organize and execute roadshows and promotional events; track participation and lead generation
- Conduct roundtables, webinars,



and one-to-many engagements in collaboration with missions, associations, and other partners
- Innovate and implement recent methods for pipeline generation

Pipeline Building
- Progress leads for qualification and conversion
- Categorize and hand over leads based on touchpoint intensity and investment value.
- Collaborate with industry, and state teams on lead development

Enabling Ease of Doing Business (EoDB)
- Identify and collate EoDB issues from the European Investors; support resolution efforts
- Organize EoDB-focused roundtables and FTM sessions
- Provide policy recommendations to relevant sectors and states
Bilateral, Multilateral & G2G Engagements
- Support deliverables and receivables in G2G platforms such as Joint Working Groups, CEO Forums, Trade Forums etc.
- Ensure quality of outcomes through regular feedback and reporting
Knowledge Collateral & Investor Queries
- Develop country intelligence documents cover
