Job Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day international shipping operations.
Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, AWB/Shipping Bills and other required documents.
Track shipments and provide regular updates on shipment status.
Coordinate with the warehouse/team for packing, dispatch and shipment handover.
Ensure shipments are dispatched on time and as per customer requirements.
Check shipping charges, freight quotations and vendor bills.
Handle shipment-related issues such as delays, customs queries, missing documents and delivery problems.
Maintain proper records of all shipments, tracking details and shipping documents.
Follow up with courier/shipping partners for timely pickup and delivery.
Manage return shipments, damaged shipments and RTO cases, whenever required.
Ensure compliance with company shipping procedures and applicable customs/shipping requirements.
Prepare daily/weekly shipping and operations reports.
Perform other operational and administrative duties assigned by management.
Required Skills
Positive knowledge of shipping and logistics processes.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word and email communication.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Good follow-up and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
Knowledge of international shipping/customs procedures will be an advantage.
