Role Description The Junior Accountant role at WISH is a contract, in office position based in Hyderabad. The Junior Accountant will support daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers,



and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities include processing invoices, preparing expense reports, reconciling bank statements, and supporting payroll and statutory compliance under guidance from senior finance staff. The role also involves assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities, helping prepare financial reports, and ensuring accurate documentation and filing of financial records. The Junior Accountant will collaborate with the school’s administration team to support budgeting, fee collection, and other finance-related processes while adhering to internal controls and school policies.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in basic accounting principles, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
