Job Title: Channel Head - Development & Operations – Insurance, Financial and Wealth Services

Travel: Regular travel across Gujarat and other target expansion markets to develop new business opportunities, build channel relationships and support network growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Channel Strategy & Business Growth
Develop and execute the channel expansion and market development strategy across Tier 1, 2 and 3 markets.
Identify new markets, business opportunities and potential distribution channels.
Set and drive quarterly and annual targets for channel acquisition, activation and revenue.
Track market and competitor movements and recommend growth opportunities.
2. Channel Partner Acquisition & Relationship Management
Identify, approach and onboard potential channel partners, financial advisors, distributors, agents and independent professionals.
Lead market meetings, presentations and business discussions with prospective partners.




Evaluate commercial viability and negotiate mutually beneficial business arrangements.
Build long-term relationships and act as the senior point of contact for key channel partners.
Manage escalations and drive partner retention and business growth.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with HR, Training, Technology, Marketing, Legal, Finance and Compliance to ensure smooth onboarding and business activation.
Drive timely execution of commitments made to channel partners.
Conduct periodic reviews with internal teams and track critical action points to closure.
Develop and maintain standard processes and operating guidelines for channel expansion.
4. Network Development & Performance Management
Oversee the launch and operational readiness of recent business locations and channels.
Monitor channel-level performance across insurance, financial and wealth products.
Identify underperforming channels and implement structured improvement plans.
