Role Description The Article Trainee will work full time on-site at the firm’s office in Delhi, India. The role involves assisting with accounting, tax return preparation, GST and income tax compliance, and documentation for refunds and demands. The trainee will support senior team members in audits, financial reporting under Ind AS, and preparation of working papers and reports. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining records, conducting basic research on tax and regulatory issues,



and helping with registration and compliance for NGOs and non-profit entities. The role offers hands-on learning, professional development, and exposure to a wide range of client industries and assignments.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and basic auditing procedures.
Understanding of Indian Income Tax and GST provisions, with interest in compliance and litigation-related work.
Interest or exposure to international taxation and financial reporting standards such as IFRS / Ind AS.
Ability to research regulatory requirements and prepare clear, accurate documentation and working papers.
Solid analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic accounting or tax software.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach.
