Role Description The State Secretary General is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing FITIG’s activities within a specific state or region. In this position, the individual coordinates programs related to trade support, investor engagement, and women’s leadership and development, ensuring alignment with FITIG’s mission and policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and monitoring state-level initiatives,



building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and partners, preparing reports and documentation, and facilitating communication between local teams and the national leadership. The role also involves organizing virtual and in-person events when required, promoting FITIG’s programs, and contributing to strategic planning for regional growth and impact.

Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in leadership, program coordination, and organizational management in non-profit or related sectors.
Knowledge of international trade, investment ecosystems, or economic development initiatives, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
Commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment, with experience supporting leadership and development programs considered an asset.
