The Rec & Proofing Rep 5 will be responsible for performing L1 reconciliation activities for the Cash product, including review, investigation, follow-up, and resolution of reconciliation breaks. The role involves handling relatively complex reconciliation assignments with a direct impact on business quality, control, and timely service delivery.
The candidate should have a good working understanding of cash reconciliations, payments investigation, and SWIFT message investigation, with the ability to analyze breaks, identify root causes, coordinate with relevant teams, and support timely closure of outstanding items. The role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision while ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to defined procedures and control expectations.
The candidate should be able to operate key reconciliation and productivity tools such as TLM and Excel, and should be comfortable using AI-enabled tools such as Copilot and Stylus to support productivity, documentation, analysis, and process efficiency.
A basic understanding of reporting requirements using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Xceptor-related reporting will be an added advantage.
The role requires working knowledge of technical and professional principles, along with a good understanding of team objectives and how individual responsibilities contribute to the broader unit goals. The candidate should be able to assess reconciliation issues, apply prior experience, evaluate available options, and resolve basic to moderately complex problems based on practice, precedent, and defined procedures.
The individual should demonstrate strong attention to detail, ownership, and quality focus. They may also recommend process improvements to enhance productivity, strengthen controls, and improve overall reconciliation efficiency in line with established guidelines.
