Role Description This full-time Senior Tax Manager role is based in Mumbai with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The Senior Tax Manager will oversee tax planning and compliance activities, ensure accurate and timely tax preparation, and provide guidance on complex tax matters impacting the business. Responsibilities include reviewing tax filings, monitoring changes in tax law, advising leadership on tax-efficient strategies, and supporting cross-functional teams on tax-related implications of new initiatives and client engagements. The role also involves managing relationships with external advisors, supporting audits, improving internal tax processes,
and preparing transparent documentation for senior leadership.
Qualifications
Being a qualified Chartered Accountant is mandatory.
Candidates should possess solid skills in Tax Planning and Tax Compliance to design and implement effective, compliant tax strategies.
Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Tax Preparation and a solid understanding of Tax Law to manage filings and interpret regulatory requirements.
Candidates should possess comprehensive expertise in Tax as a discipline, including corporate and indirect taxes relevant to individual and company.
Proficiency in tax-related software and MS Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lead and mentor a team, collaborate effectively with finance and operations, and communicate complex tax concepts clearly.
Experience in foreign transactions will be an advantage.
