Job Summary: The Site Reliability Engineer is an individual contributed and a full-stack developer on an Agile team who is primarily responsible for production support with a heavy leaning towards automation of redundant tasks, thereby reducing toil.

Job role and responsibilities:
Ensure system reliability getting systems back to steady-state as quickly as possible
Automate wherever possible - reduce toil
Configure monitoring and logging of systems in order to obtain better visibility
Help design processes that automatically evaluate system SLA
Be proactive, identify and remediate issues before SLAs are violated




Tool-agnostic and approach-centric
Driving better cross-team collaboration - work with Product development team, DevOps group and Operations Job skills

Requirement:
Java, Spring Boot
JavaScript (React JS+/ Angular/ NodeJS)
Python
Containers, Kubernetes, Docker
Application Servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic and WebSphere
Messaging and Event Streaming Systems
Expertise in Datadog is must.
Experience in dealing with monitoring tools such as (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana).

Qualifications for the role include:
4+ years progressive software systems programming experience, at least 2 of which should involve experience utilizing Java/JEE technologies.
2+ years of Python programming is preferred
Computer related Bachelors degree is preferred or equivalent work experience in software development
