The Buyer will be an integral part of the Commercial team in Home category. They will be responsible for sourcing goods and services in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets while managing the complete procurement and PO process. The role partners closely with suppliers and internal teams to optimize inventory, negotiate commercial terms, and drive cost efficiencies.



The Buyer also tracks market trends and builds strong supplier relationships to support business growth.

Responsibilities
Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments in the buying processes and new projects and activities
Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization
Identifying customer preferences, monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers
Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities
Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and best practice tools and methods
Manage the entire PO process to ensure optimal inventory.
Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships.
