Role Description The Economics Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Economics lessons for students preparing for IGCSE, IBDP, A Level, AS Level, and related curricula. Day-to-day tasks include designing lesson plans, teaching core and applied economic concepts, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of progress.



The role also involves collaborating with other faculty members to align teaching strategies with academy standards, supporting students for exams and projects, and participating in academic improvement initiatives. This is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
Qualifications
Strong subject-matter expertise in Economics and Business Economics.
Demonstrated skills in Teaching and Education, with experience instructing middle and senior school students.
Proficiency in Lesson Planning, curriculum alignment, and classroom management.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Education, or a closely related field.
Prior experience teaching Economics for international curricula (IGCSE, IBDP, A/AS Levels) is highly preferred.
Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment and motivate diverse learners.
