Role Summary:
The Key Account Planner is responsible for end-to-end partner management from a planning and execution standpoint. The role owns account-level forecasting, inventory and Days of Cover management, operational coordination, and day-to-day partner engagement and all other partner-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Partner & Account Management:
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners for all planning and operational matters
• Manage day-to-day partner interactions including forecasting discussions, replenishment planning, and execution follow-ups
• Own partner coordination on launches, promotions, availability, and service levels
• Escalate only margin-related negotiations or strategic commercial decisions
Account Planning & Forecasting:
• Prepare and own account-wise sales forecasts aligned with channel and business plans
• Drive monthly, quarterly, and seasonal planning cycles
• Track forecast vs actuals and initiate corrective actions
Inventory & DOC Management:
• Own inventory planning and Days of Cover (DOC) for assigned partners




• Monitor sell-through, stock cover, aging, and inventory turns
• Proactively manage stock-out risks, excess inventory, and slow-moving stock
• Drive replenishment, rebalancing, markdowns, and liquidation actions
Channel Planning & Cross-Functional Coordination:
• Act as planning SPOC within the channel
• Work independently with channel planning, supply chain, merchandising, finance, and operations teams
• Ensure alignment between demand plans, supply plans, and partner requirements
Operational Execution:
• Own order flow tracking, dispatch planning, and delivery timelines
• Ensure smooth execution of promotions, launches, and peak-season plans
• Resolve operational, supply, and planning-related issues independently
Reporting & Business Insights:
• Prepare MIS on sales performance, inventory health, forecast accuracy, and DOC adherence
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations
