Counterpoint is a fast-growing global analyst firm. Our analysts produce a significant body of research that needs to be optimally presented. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic research associate to assist our research efforts.

Our smartphone research team is the largest in the industry and supports smartphone and consumer electronics brands, component players, mobile operators, other value chain participants as well as financial institutions.

The focus of this role is to track the industry of smartphones, other smart devices and related ecosystems, from a skilled perspective. You will contribute to our proprietary databases and conduct smartphone-related study and take on a combination of responsibilities including client engagements and presentation, business development, growing network across the supply chain, and assisting in regular and ad-hoc projects.

The role will involve:
Analyzing and processing relevant data and information to be maintained within our proprietary databases.
A key contributor to smartphone research related work, including custom research projects,



regular projects, research blogs, reports and white papers - by working with various internal teams.
Frequently communicating with industry stakeholders. Tracking key drivers and inhibitors in the Smartphone Devices’ space and understanding how these factors affect overall industry trends.
Assisting sales team in growing our business, including frequent visits to clients and prospects, handling clients’ requests, promote trust and gauging clients’ evolving needs.
Coworking with marketing team to promote services. Frequently express your industry viewpoints and enhance your personal industry influence.
To develop new research with a rich body of qualitative and quantitative research insights and coach junior analysts.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
Master’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant work experience in technology, telecoms, internet, media, or finance
