Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting principles and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced professional environment. This role offers a strong foundation for career growth in finance, accounting, and auditing.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining day-to-day accounting entries in Tally, Excel, or other accounting software.
Record and reconcile cash/bank transactions and maintain ledgers.
Support in the preparation of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances.
Help in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
Coordinate with clients for data collection and clarification.
Maintain proper filing of accounting records, bills, vouchers, etc.
Assist senior team members in finalizing books of accounts.
Perform basic data entry and support analytical tasks.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of accounting standards, GST, and TDS.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally (or any other accounting software).
Good communication skills and team spirit.
Solid attention to detail and commitment to learning.
Prior internship or experience in an accounting role will be a plus.
