Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance and Control Engineer to ensure compliance with IEC 61439 standards in low-voltage (LV) switchgear and control gear assemblies. The role involves hands-on testing, auditing panel builders, delivering training, and driving process improvements to maintain high-quality manufacturing standards. This position requires solid expertise in LV panel verification, quality management systems (QMS), and IEC compliance.

Key Deliverables / Key Responsibilities/Deliverables (Min 4 need to be filled in decreasing order of importance)




Conduct routine inspection of IEC 61439 panels at panel builder facilities, including in-process (manufacturing, wiring etc.) and final inspection (APFC, AHF, VFD, Soft Starter, PCC & MCC).
Perform QMS audits at panel builders to identify non-conformities, suggest corrective actions and ensure process traceability.
Provide training to panel builders on quality systems, IEC 61439 requirements, panel testing protocols, and best practices in LV assembly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse data and perform root cause analysis for product & process improvement.
Support panel builders with customer inspections/ interactions for LV panel inspection.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Min 5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within LV electrical panels or switchgear industry, with direct exposure to IEC 61439 testing and verification.
