About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hardware and Network Administrator to join our IT team. This role is vital to ensuring our computing infrastructure runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting both Windows and Linux environments and be comfortable managing desktop systems and network hardware.

Key Responsibilities

End-User Support:

- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop systems, operating systems, and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on Windows and Linux systems.
- Provide support for Microsoft Office applications, email clients, VPNs, and remote access tools.
- Assist users with password resets, printer issues, and other desktop-related problems.
- Respond promptly to service requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
- Support users both remotely and in office as needed.

Asset & System Management:

- Maintain and regularly update asset inventory for all user devices and hardware.
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and preventative maintenance.
- Document incidents, configurations, and solutions accurately for future reference.

Network Administration:

- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
- Configure and provide ongoing support for routers,



switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Ensure network performance, reliability, and security through consistent monitoring and maintenance.
- Escalate complex or critical network issues to senior-level support or external vendors when required.

Qualifications

Required:

- Proven experience in hardware support and network administration.
- Robust knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and protocols.
- Solid troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Experience with Office 365, VPNs, and remote desktop tools.

Preferred:

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, A+, CCNA, MCSA, etc.)
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT documentation best practices.
- Experience with Cloud Computing like Azure or AWS.
- Exposure to cybersecurity practices and network security principles.

Soft Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
