Position: Site Engineer - Road Project
Location: Dhandhuka, Gujarat

About the Role

We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for a road project at Dhandhuka, Gujarat.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections of roads and road assets to identify maintenance requirements, defects and deficiencies.
- Monitor the contractor's road maintenance activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved specifications, drawings, BOQ and contract requirements.
- Monitor routine and periodic maintenance works including:
- Pothole repairs
- Patching and resurfacing
- Bituminous works
- Shoulder maintenance
- Check the quality of materials and workmanship used by the maintenance contractor.
- Verify measurements and quantities of maintenance works executed by the contractor.
- Monitor contractor performance, manpower,



machinery and work progress.
- Identify defects and ensure timely rectification by the contractor.
- Maintain records of road defects, inspections, maintenance activities and rectification status.
- Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), inspection reports, site records and maintenance reports.
- Monitor compliance with maintenance schedules and contractual requirements.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of road/highway project experience is mandatory.:
- Experience in road maintenance projects will be highly preferred.
- Experience with PMC / Consultancy / Supervision Consultant is preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
